Please don’t get too excited about several of the recent announcements of cancer treatments for pancreatic cancer. Targeting a protein on the tumor surface just isn’t going to be enough. Cancer isn’t homogeneous and many systems play a role in cancer’s development. Treatment will be multi-factorial.
