When you turn 30, your body re-rolls damage for every injury you've ever gotten and randomly picks 2-3 to upgrade to permanent debuffs

My "favourite" so far is it told me my hometown doesn't exist and I was "probably misinterpreting a videogame term from a game such as Minecraft..."

Anecdotally, my fairly old monitor defaults to actual 60Hz, but with an option to lower it to NTSC timing in Display Settings

Love the reed-like grass patches. If anyone knows how they did that let me know

Maybe I'm old school, but the idea of blocking someone so they CAN'T message you, because you're upset they DIDN'T message you, seems counter-productive.

🌶️I don't normally do #fakemon but I'll forever be secretly pleased I beat the official series to coming up with a chilli 'mon 🌶️ #Sprites #PixelArt

(In your best Pokedex voice:) "Habanaero, the Hot Air Species. Originally thought to hover by superheating the air around it. Its smoke trails actually hide multiple sets of tiny, constantly flapping wings."

First and foremost, button rebinds. After that, it depends on the game. Mine is a JRPG so things like text font/speed/scale are crucial, then things like cursor memory for menus, speeding up battle animations.

Line'o'swine based on the trivia that Piloswine was drafted out for each stage of evolution during GSC development #Pokemon #pixelart

Three sprites of the Pokemon Piloswine, as basic, stage 1, and stage 2 Pokemon. Notably, the biggest sprite has huge fluffy ears. Where do they go when it evolves? Do they just schloop into its head like a person sucking spaghetti?

Posting to Reddit these days has me questioning why I bothered literally every time. If the comments don't make you regret it, the mods will.

When I worked an unimportant warehouse job, we trialled a guy for an opening. He had no relevant qualifications and, before even starting, was creeping on the under-age girls. We obviously didn't hire him and went for someone suitable for the job instead. This story is unrelated to current events.

It's a scale thing. They have over a BILLION users, even if only 1% ever have any issues, that's a LOT of issues.

It was a Netbook type device (HP Elite Folio tbp), no Ethernet port. Ended up having to dig up an old USB stick and a second PC

Google earbuds just updated to remove the feature of pressing to hear notifications. Now you have to ask their assistant out loud. Objective downgrade for no reason I can think of other than the free advertising they get from people being forced to talk to their voice control in public.

My W10 updated its wifi drivers (which involves restarting the wifi) and then couldn't finish the download (because it had just turned off the wifi). No big problem, except it had just uninstalled the old drivers. PC now just doesn't have wifi. Only fix is redownloading old drivers...

On a related note if you add colour back to the original #GBC #pixelart it becomes really easy to tell it only ever had 3 legs this whole time.

Staryeet! Redrawn Staryu card for @tcgnewdeckplus.bsky.social. Who doesn't enjoy a nice game of catch on the beach with their laser shuriken? #pixelart #ドット絵 #pokemon

4 Colour GBC pixel art of an unfortunate Staryu being thrown between three people at the beach like a frisbee.

I'm remaking #Pokemon Crystal in #Godot, adding as much QoL and fun stuff (including a Gwent-like card game) as I can, and with art from the amazing artists of #JohtoRedrawn (In this case @anima-nel.bsky.social)

Who wants some #Pokemon #pixelart of my favourite squiggly lad in the style of the GBC card games

Pixel art of the Pokemon Tangrowth relaxing under a tree in a manner that could be described as squiggly or, alternatively, wiggly.
