benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/20251) One Piece No I haven't watched One Piece, but let me explain: 000 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/20252) CITY THE ANIMATION NICHIJOU'S LITTLE SISTER!!! Honestly, for as much as I've loved the latest Tsurune and Eupho, I'm really excited to see KyoAni come back to a type of fun work that allows for instances of either confy vibes, or batshit crazyness. WE'RE SEATED FOR THIS ONE. 100 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/20253) Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc I don't really share much about it, but I'm a BIG Chainsaw Man fan. I never was a Nakayama hater or detractor for S1, but I actually am glad and excited for this stylistic shift for the franchise, and really just excited to see this arc adapted in general. 100 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/20254) Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Movie Just listening to Kana saying "bye-bye, Kobayashi" on the announcement made something within me crack. This is gonna wreck me up, I know it. 100 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/20255) False Memory Not really sure what to expect from this one, but going from its pilot short-episode and trailer, I know at least it'll offer a crazy audiovisual spectacle, plus a surreal exploration on the theme of memories. Really excited! 100 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/20256) Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Two words: Tsurumaki Gundam. The staff list for this project is just absolutely ridiculous, and it looks so, so cool! Plus, as a G-Witch fan, I'm all for more Gundam with female leads. 100 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/20257) Mononoke: Hinezumi Watched the first Mononoke film just recently and it absolutely blew my mind away (in more than one sense). It got me really excited to follow through to the end this new vision by Kenji Nakamura. 100 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/20258) YAIBA I'm really not fond at all of this boom in the trend of anime remakes of recent years, but this one seems like on of the rare cases when they've managed to craft a work that stands on its own merits other than being "a more faithful/complete adaptation". Looks like a lot of fun! 100 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/20259) Cocoon This one comes down to a mix of being interested in the topic and the setting (love me my historical dramas) and the genuine interest in the nature of this production, being a project led by AniP Hitomi Tatemo to offer an opportunity of well strucutred training for young animators. 100 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/202510) Witch Hat Atelier If I were to rank this on my love for the source material alone, it would easily be at n.1 ... That said, while I'm deffinitely anticipating this one, I'm also keeping my safe skepticism on how might the project come out as a whole based on the people involved. We'll see! 100 0
benjii @justbenji.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Happy new year everyone! As per tradition, before I start working on my 2024 anime awards, I'm giving ya'll my 10 most anticipated anime releases for 2025 100 0
