No one else's opinion on your enjoyment of a harmless medium is important. DO NOTHING "IRONICALLY", Free yourself! Enjoy stuff that everyone else has heard of,unapologetically enjoy European pop music, trans your gender, STOP FEARING BEING PERCEIVED BY OTHERS. It's SO freeing & adds time to your life

Even if you do not create/consume/like NSFW media you must speak up for SWs and NSFW creators b/c the criminalizing and banning of it is just another step towards fascism. It will be used to target minority groups, LGBT, etc. and anything deemed "unsanitary" or "degenerate".

I wanna make a video for the 1 year anniversary, but I wanna include streams all the way up to the anniversary. The struggle

They should invent extra hours in the day just to watch vtubers

000

Tree 🐣🍻 @justatree.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

I get you. Sometimes it sucks cause I wanna make a dumb joke, but know it definitely wouldn't mesh with the chat and streamers vibes.

000

Tree 🐣🍻 @justatree.bsky.social · 16/01/2025

People who can just jump into any chat and be comfy talking are too powerful. Like there are streamers I have watched regularly for over a year that I almost never feel comfy chatting, and then there are some that I immediately vibe with and feel at home.

Doppio, Hakka, Aia, Gale... for just so many birds Zanny, Fulgur, Uki, and Altus. They just seem like they would have a very special synergy.

You ever see a thread were someone is trying to air some grievance, but every single post in the thread is someone treating them very politely and reasonably? Sorry you are experiencing the consequences of your own actions?

Tree 🐣🍻 @justatree.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

How a streamer reacts to mouthwashing is such a solid litmus test for me watching new streamers. Even before you get into the meat of the story. Just from the first scene, you get a pretty solid indication of how much they put into a story based game.

In theory, I understand the logic, especially for people who are coming specifically for the game and not the streamer. But in practice, it's often just so unreasonable that I can't wrap my head it.

That's the #1 reason I could never stream, I would lose my mind. Like I just can't fathom the amount of entitlement it takes to go into someone elses stream and tell them what to do and the fact that it happens so much!! It's so easy to just leave and watch what you want if you aren't happy.

000

Tree 🐣🍻 @justatree.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

Idk, the appeal of gaming streams to me is to watch how someone else plays and interprets a game. How they solve puzzles and work through the story. Why would you try and force them to do it a specific way? ESPECIALLY when in games where it is the players choice to make.

110

Tree 🐣🍻 @justatree.bsky.social · 06/12/2024

Backseating is so weird. Like. I can understand the urge to help when someone is stuck (although it's still not a reason to tell them the answer if they don't want it) but when someone is just playing the game and having a good time why would you try and tell them what to do?
