For people who are trying to convince themselves and others that it's fine to support the work and not the author nor their goals. Friend, I am beseeching you to seriously reconsider. Death of the Author doesn't matter if they're an Author of Death.

Yk I have a couple of ideas/stories I'd love to pursue long term because they've been rattling around in my head for ages. but I CANNOT figure out what medium best suites them? Or are even achievable? I can see it being Graphic novel, Feature film, Animated series. But settling on one is hard.

I’m relieved people seem to still want art in their lives. Let’s keep that up.

This iron lung animation was the first one I made, I'm not a character animator at all with backgrounds color and lighting more my thing Regardless still pretty proud of it and I'm appreciative to have gained it as a hyperfixation for a couple weeks. Enjoy 🫴✨️

Realised my portfolio was lacking in anything gothic so thought I'd go to my local church take some reference pics and try my hand at it. Pretty proud of this, took me like 8 hours though because OMG CHURCHES HAVE SO MANY PARTS TO DRAW Not including the textures 😭 🫴✨️

The groan and crash of falling trees. Huge footsteps boom out into the country dusk. Electronic reverb on pained chatter and nonsense words blasted out over the farm. No one is left to hear it.

siren head, a giant monster with a skeletal humanoid body and air raid sirens for a head, looms over a farm at dusk. it's bent over as if scanning the ground for people

Ngl I think picking up a book on Noir artstyles was a major help with pushing how I did the lighting with backgrounds. Its nice actually SEEING improvements you've made Ended up scrolling to my first posts on instagram and Wow...I've actually come further than I thought considering how I started!

Experimental shot from my scp animated series "Anomaly" that was inspired by a recent ghost musical animation I came across that had some gore in it. So I reckoned that I'd give a gore animation a try and honestly I'm really proud of it. 🌲🌲

One of my favourite backgrounds that I've made for my final year short film "Venting Machine" I usually do alot of overlay experiments but this time I tried painting the lighting WITH the color. Can't wait to start animating it next semeseter but I'm SO nervous about what comes after uni is over🌲🌖🌲

Alice Gray @justalice5201.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

Unprofessional Semi Emergency I need 2 voice actors for a very short spoken role (theres like 6 lines) as I need to have a finished animatic for the 3rd Dec. Zoey the Runaway Need a femme va who is comfortable with shouting and screaming and Clementine, a soft spoken transwoman
