Warmup sketches I did a while ago but coloured some yesterday #sonicthehedgehog

Sketches of Sonic in various poses, with 3 coloured ones.
Left to right, top to bottom:
1. crouching on the ground with one leg extended.
2. Sitting facing the camera with his legs splayed and gesturing with his hand.
3. Something that looks either like a dodge or sonic skidding to a halt, while he peers over his shoulder with a grin.
4. (Coloured) Sonic crouching and curled up in a ball. I wanted to emphasise his hedgehog-ness.
5. (Coloured) Sonic pulling a dramatic pose where he is leaning extremely far back and using one hand to support his weight off the ground.
6. Sonic with lighting coming from under him and his hands up, in a typical spooky storytelling gesture.
7. (Coloured) Sonic sliding along the ground, similar to the slide move seen in some 3D sonic games

I'm in a crazy artblock rn #oc

My original character Touxi. She has pale green hair that's half tied up in a bun. She wears dark grey techwear with green accents. She has 3 pipe-like protrusions coming out of her back, with an ambiguous green light radiating from them.
She is part of a dystopian sci-fi story I call "Syvathus Days".

Idk what happened to the colours I went a little crazy #sonadow

Sonic and Shadow sitting in a vague location.
Sonic says, "You're such a secretive guy, I figured it'd be something crazy like opening up, heh..."
Shadow says, "Something like that..." he hesitates for a moment before hugging sonic. They both find it a bit awkward.

This is supposed to be a scene from a longer piece but idk if I will finish it. Drawing them hugging is hard.

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

I liked this one so I coloured it #sonadow

Sonic and Shadow sitting on the grass, looking at the stars. Sonic is whistling and laid back, while Shadow has his knees to his chest and a ponderous expression.

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Sketching these buffoons when I'm bored #sonadow

Loose sketches of sonic and shadow, playing with perspective and some emotion in body language

Slightly tidier sketches mostly in 2D space, playing with more emotion in expression and hand gesture

Neater sketches featuring sonic stretching and eating. Shadow asks, "What are you doing?", Sonic replies, "Stretching? Gotta keep limber"

I like the idea that sonic is constantly stretching and eating and doing otherwise human esque things meanwhile shadow never needs to since he is an artificial creation

Sonic challenging shadow to a race fairly, and unfairly. Shadow asks, "do you enjoy pissing people off?", Sonic replies, "Yeah, kinda!".
The two of them sitting on the grass looking up at the stars, sonic is whistling.

The shadow the hedgehog fandub has taken over my regular vocabulary #sonicthehedgehog #shadowthehedgehog #snapcube

Various sketches of Sonic and Shadow based on quotes from Snapcube's Shadow the Hedgehog fandub.
1 [Sonic: "Shadow, you're an asshole, man"
Shadow: "You are what you eat, Sonic"]
2 [Sonic (laughing): You're gonna die"]
3 [Shadow: "Don't you call my highlights gay!"
Sonic: "They are pretty gay"]
4 [Sonic: "We're here to help you, man! With what, I don't know, but I value our friendship!"]
5 [Sonic: "Come, play in the light with me" (c'mon)
Shadow: "How about you come play in the dark with me? Huh? How about that compromise?"]
6 [Sonic: "Those things look so sick, it makes me want to bark like a dog!"]

Interspersed throughout are sketches of Sonic saying "long time no see!"

I'm trying to commission someone and I never knew how stupid paypal was until now ugh

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

I realised I never actually posted those OCs before so here Surely one day I will make a comic for them

My original characters, left to right:
Elora [She has curly brown hair that she typically wears in twin buns. She is wearing a pink tube top and white baggy pants]
Reyon [He has grey hair that is shaved underneath, which he wears in a bun. He has a blue turtle neck and grey pants, alongside silver armour on his shoulders and arms. He wears metal boots with a blue fabric covering]
Kuro [They have dark hair that covers half of their face, a grey face mask, and a grey tattered cloak which obscures most of their body. They also have black leather boots and gloves]
Aafje [He has curly brown hair and pointed ears. He wears an open white shirt and a purple sash on top of a knee-length purple skirt]

My little freak #oc #originalcharacter

My original character, Kuro, standing as a silhouette in front of a field of grasping hands, with abstract eyes floating and staring at them. Kuro also has small red eyes scattered across their body. The text reads "The Mistress of Midnight and Mischief".
The piece uses a mostly red-orange colour palette with hints of blue as contrast.

Idea

Shadow hovering in the air whilst bullets fly past him. One bullet strikes his boot, causing the rockets to fail. He attempts to use chaos control to get out of the situation but also loses the emerald to another bullet

Shadow falls to the ground, Sonic jumps up to catch him

Sonic has Shadow in his arms. He says "you got a serious falling-from-the-sky problem, dude"

Sonic lands, letting Shadow stand on the ground, and takes out the remaining enemies

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

Letting off steam #sonadow

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

Healthy rivalry #sonadow

Sonic is smirking, holding up both his hands with two fingers raised on his right hand and one raised on his left. He is saying "I'm still beating you, faker"
Shadow has a neutral expression and he is adjusting his inhibitor rings. He is saying "And I'm still going easy on you, faker"
They both have a dramatic shadow across half their face.

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 31/05/2026

Sonic and Shadow standing facing each other. Sonic is leaning forward with a teasing expression and holding Shadow's arms, Shadow is reluctant at the contact and has a mild frown on his face.

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

These guys are silly as hell #sonadow

Loose sketches of sonic and shadow. The top left is them standing facing each other with their right hands extended towards each other. Top right is them standing side-by-side, shadow has his arms crossed and is frowning, sonic has his hands on his hips with a mischievous look on his face. The bottom right is them hugging, shadow has his arms around sonic's neck while sonic gently holds him to comfort him.

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

Also I bought the IDW comics recently and the art is so pretty ughh I want to eat it

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

Yay #sonicthehedgehog #shadowthehedgehog

Sonic and Shadow from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Both are in their super forms.
They are floating/flying in space in front of a laser, with their backs turned to each other, yet they look at each other. The scene is loosely based on the finale of Sonic Adventure 2.

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 20/04/2026

I'm trying to cook up some actual sonadow art but they are so hard to draw man </3

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

I just think they are neat #sonadow

The hands of Sonic and Shadow from Sonic the Hedgehog in various poses together, including: playing rock-paper-scissors; side-on fist-bumping; hi-fiveing; crossed at the wrist similar to the chaos control cutscene from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006); outstretched towards each other; Shadow holding Sonic's wrist; and Sonic taking Shadow's hand.
The drawings are arranged to form a heart shape in the middle.

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 15/04/2026

I made the OC art a while ago but didn't have anywhere to post them. They are my skrunklies

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 15/04/2026

If they seem narratively complicated it's because I made them when I was 14 #originalcharacter

My original characters [OCs], Ash and Ghost. Ghost is laid on the ground, supporting himself by an elbow as his other hand lies across his stomach. His knees are propped up, and Ash leans onto them from his side.

Ghost wears a white shirt and black pants, with black gloves and boots.
Ash wears a yellow shirt and dark grey pants with light grey shoes. The two of them wear matching bracelets on their wrists.
They both have cat ears and tails.
Here, ash has black hair with white streaks in it, and her left arm is scarred, while Ghost has his usual white hair with blue patterns on his ears and tail.

My OCs, Ash and Ghost, dancing together. Ash has mostly white hair here, and a cropped yellow shirt with straight legged grey pants. Ghost wears a sleeveless high-neck top with an open back, and blue pants. Ash is the one taking the lead in the dance.

Sketches of my OCs, Ghost and Ash, where Ash is coloured in solid yellow while Ghost is coloured in solid blue.

From top left to bottom right:

Ghost asleep on Ash's chest while she gazes fondly at him.

Ghost crying with a confused expression on his face.
Text beside him reads: "I... I'm crying?".

Ghost, without pupils, reaching out to Ash, who seems concerned. Their arms cross but Ghost's arm goes through Ash's.
Text around them reads: (Ghost) "but we can't touch...", (Ash) "What happened to you?".

Ghost, without pupils again, hesitantly reaching towards Ash, who also has her hand raised in his direction. This image takes place before the last one.
Text between them reads: (Ash) "Jinks?", (Ghost) "You can see me?".
*Ghost's previous name used to be Jinks.

The final image; Ash is leaning into Ghost's space, smiling smugly at him, with her arms behind her back. Ghost leans away but has his face tilted towards her, and he smiles back at her, with his hands on his hips.

OCs again

My original characters [OCs], Ghost and Ash standing together. Ghost (left) is resting his arm on Ash's shoulder, while Ash has her hand around Ghost's waist.

Ghost has white hair, a white hoodie that is opened, a black shirt and blue jeans. He has cat ears that are two shades of blue.

Ash has white hair with black roots, a yellow shirt, and dark brown pants. She has cat ears which are coloured black.

Loose sketches of my OC Ghost again, in varying poses. In the bottom right pose, he does not have his white jacket on, and we can see his black sneakers. His tail is also visible here, having the same white and blue design as his ears.

Alternate designs for my OC, Ash.

In the first design she has her hair tied up, a yellow shirt, dark brown pants, and white sneakers. Her tail is mostly white with a black tip.

In the second design, the black roots of her hair have grown out to her chin level, and she wears her hair out. She wears a grey long sleeved short and black shorts, brown boots and a brown satchel across her shoulder. The black part of her tail occupies half of it now.

In the final design, her hair is fully black and tied back with a yellow scrunchie. She wears a white shirt with a yellow cropped jacket, dark grey cargo pants, and brown boots. Her tail is also fully black.

The rendering for this killed me but hey, it's done #sonicthehedgehog #shadowthehedgehog #fanart

Fanart of Sonic and Shadow from Sonic the Hedgehog. They are posed in the air, hands outstretched to each other. Shadow is upside down, as if a mirror image of Sonic but having a different perspective. The Chaos Emeralds float in a circle behind them, casting light onto them. There are sky motifs on Sonic's side of the artwork, whilst there are elements of the Radical Highway stage on Shadow's side.

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 10/04/2026

Oc art yippee #originalcharacter

A coloured sketch of my original character [OC], Ghost. He has white hair, with cat ears and a tail which are coloured in 2 shades of blue. In this picture he is wearing a black jacket, a white shirt, blue jeans, and black gloves. He is posed with his back to the viewer, leaning backwards and his arms held outwards.

A coloured piece of my OC, Ghost. In this drawing he is wearing a black tank top and blue jeans, as well as black and blue sneakers. He is posed facing the viewer, crouching with his weight on one foot which is under him. He is holding out an arm that's resting on his other knee with his finger pointed to the floor.

A coloured sketch of my OC, Ghost. He is wearing a purple loose-fitting shirt and black dress-pants. He is posed standing and facing to the right, with body slightly turned towards the viewer.

Ghost @justaghostagain.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

Re-entered my sonic obsession so bad I started making fanart of them #sonicthehedgehog #shadowthehedgehog #fanart

Fanart of characters Sonic (right) and Shadow (left) from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Sonic is grinning, posed with his right hand as a fist on his hip, and his left hand raised with his index finger pointing upwards.
Shadow is frowning, posed with his right hand open, palm facing the camera, and directed downards. His left hand is raised to shoulder height and is in a fist.
Sonic and shadow are facing away from each other, and are standing in a black background with a golden ring behind them. A subtle blue hue is reflected on Shadow's boots, as is a subtle red on Sonic's shoes.
