Also, the Fall Steam sale started today.

On Steam, should a game really be called a "Top Seller" if it's Free to Play?

I never understood the appeal of this. You know those crappy clear dollar-store water pistols? That's what I'm reminded of when I see this. It looks cheap and that it will fall apart easily.

I bought this back then. I hated it. It was the worst controller I have ever used. But I guess some people liked it. Good for them.

It's great Patlabor is being released again but I think I'm pass on it this time. I've bought it twice from Sentai already and I'm not gonna buy it again.

Only buttons on a PC mouse I want and need are: left and right buttons, the scrollwheel and perhaps the scroll wheel click (middle click).

justaddscott @justaddscott.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Do they not make ambidextrous PC mice anymore? Every mice have two buttons on one side. I don't want or need those buttons.

I cannot believe they're still making new content for Fallout 76. Wild.

Yuck! My Roku's Home page has an ad for a gambling service. It's terrible when it's just an ad when watching TV but this is disgusting.

Hmmm... You know, the only Xbox system that I've ever played a game on is the first one. Not sure why but I have pretty much stuck with the Playstation. Not so this time around. I've pretty much dropped out of console video game world.

Now that bluesky has increased video length for uploads, you can now watch the entirety of The Conversation from Lucky Star, an age-old rite of passage for anime fans

It seems now with emulation we can now play PS3 games on PC directly from the physical PS3 game discs.

Is there anyone who likes Motion Blur in their video game? Everyone I've ever seen play a video game, Motion Blur is usually the first thing they turn off.

Question: What happened to Sony? Did an evil witch place a curse on them? Their decisions and statements seem to be getting worse and worse.

You can return a game with less than 2 hour gameplay on Steam. I started a new game yesterday and I have played it for exactly 112 minutes. I'm not sure if I'm feeling it. But the game could get better after I've leveled up, different weapon, etc. I don't know what to do.

I can confirm that Tubi has Freakazoid. Yay!

I have now replaced my Chromecast streaming device with a Roku device. There are some things I like about the Roku and some things that I don't. I prefer Google's screensaver options for one.

Integrated graphics are no longer a compromise ~ I personally agree with this. I can't say for 1440p or 4K, because I don't have any way to check myself, but for 1080p an iGPU is great. (Plenty of fast RAM on the system also helps.) www.xda-developers.com/graphics-chi...

Integrated graphics are no longer a compromise — modern iGPUs match last-gen discrete cards and cost nothing extra

The graphics chip already inside your processor is far better than you think.

Reclassification, not “demotion.” Did Ceres get “promoted”? Are people mad about it no longer being considered an asteroid? Or do they even know what Ceres is? Are they aware they shouldn’t be making things with radium anymore? Don’t @ me, I’ve been sick of this shit for 20 years. 😘

Oh no! I've done it again. I've seen a few vtubers playing a game and now I'm going to try the game out myself. You don't know how often this has worked on me.

I like this calendar thing that Steam has now. Not sure how the accuracy of the personalization though. It's called "Your Personal Calendar." I like how it just shows a week at a time and its limited to just a few games. It gives me something to look forward each day.

Not sure who to trust. I find a fun indie game. I look to see if it's got genAI. It says it doesnt so I buy it. I finish the game. Days later, I see someone saying the game has genAI. Examples look like basic errors to me. I'm not an artist. Who do I trust? The devs or some random dude online?

Steam makes it so I actually want to go to their store. I feel more welcomed and I feel like they actually care about games. I find it fun to see what new thing they have, what the latest sale has to offer (there is always a sale), they usually have showcases of all kinds of games.

Because once you buy a PlayStation or XBox, you're hard-locked into their ecosystems for purchases on it, and they don't need to do more than the bare minimum. Next question :D
