Whilst wandering through the local wetland, noticed about half a dozen Rainbow Bee-eaters. There is a nest nearby, and a few of them look smaller than the others. Perhaps they are juveniles. They were a little more active today than normal. #wildoz #birds

Two contrasts this morning on Vyv's sniff survey of the local area. The bobtail was charging up for the day, and the little critter might be a Yellow-Rumped Thornbill. Catching the little birds on camera is a challenge. They move so quickly, and hard to get them in frame and in focus!
