we will be moving out of pittsburgh in february. this was a pretty sudden decision on our part but we knew it was going to happen eventually. family and friends were always pulling us back to the pnw. i loved my time on the east coast and i wanted to say a few words about what i will miss.

i think about how simple 2d games can still be outstanding flagbearers of good game feel and design. technological progress in video games doesn't always signify a growth in game quality, and at times actually obscures the quality of the game and distracts from its flaws.
