Attended another workshop, and this time I remembered a couple progress photos before getting absorbed in just making. It went from a rectangle to a WAND! Turns out I love #woodturning #craftsky #trysomethingnew #magicwand #lathe

The second exciting thing yesterday is that I made a pen! Lee Valley let me use power tools I had never even seen before (drill press! lathe!) to transform a little piece of wood into a beautiful pen, and I love it! #learnsomethingnew #craftsky #woodworking #Imadeathing

Here's the annual group shot of my Paris Agricultural Society Fair award winners! Only comments were on my shawl ("Lovely!") and the beetle cowl ("Very nice"). For context, I had 29 entries. About half didn't place at all, but it's still fun to try. #countyfair #knitsky #crochetsky #craftsky

Today I learned how to finish the back of my embroidery (in this case #punchneedle) hoop! Just in time for #FOFriday. I am quite pleased for my second punchneedle design and first finished hoop.

Finished these lovely fingerless mitts for a friend. The pattern as written was a smidge small, but I went up a hook size and now they fit like, well, a glove. Pattern is Dragonscale Gloves by Yarnivore UK. Yarn is Loops & Threads Impeccable. #crochet #crochetsky #FOFriday
