type Arctex<T> = Arc<Mutex<T>>; I love that I can do this in Rust. So many "ew the type system is ugly and gets in my way" can be entirely abstracted away, and this is a fantastic method of doing so. #rust #rustlang #programming #async #types

I have learned that no one knows how async should work. Not the software devs, nor the hardware devs. There is no consensus and everyone sort of just does whatever, then tries works around the jank. I love technology! :)

KDE Plasma 6 is so randomly unstable I'm afraid to do partition copies, since it might spontaneously explode while plugging away. I'm sure it'll be fine though... probably.
