Only the first coat but I’m excited that I got some priming done on the Elmeth, not sure if I’ll be doing the Gelgoog and the funnels. We’ll see. #gunpla

Finally got some primer on the mobile armor Elmeth. I’m debating on whether to do the Gelgoog. Eh, it’s there just in case I get ambitious.

I take it back, the entry grade RX-78-2 is mint. This kit is clean, easy to do, and quite poseable. In bright daylight the green isn’t as apparent, unless one poses it near a baby Argama. #gunpla #gundam #RX-78-2

A great entry grade RX-78-2 model kit. Very easy to build, can articulate well, and looks great with almost no apparent nubs. The mint color is subtle in daylight. Highly recommend, and with how inexpensive it is, it would be a great kit for cheap customization.

Another view of this awesome kit. Just show casing how clean it is.

Question for anyone who has done the entry grade RX-78-2 kit, was your white runners a mint green like mine!? I was hoping for an easy chill build, but no. I cannot, will not, have grandpa gundam have fresh mint legs. #gunpla

The white runners on my entry grade RX-78-2 are a minty green. Did I get a dud or is this how it’s supposed to be? Regardless, I now have to add yet another kit to the paint queue. *sighs*

While the elmeth model kit is on pause — can’t prime it in below freezing temps, I decided to knit some socks only to spot something in my bag of miscellaneous knitting tools. I must have put it in the bag when I moved from Brooklyn years ago.

I spy with my eye…a core fighter amongst random knitting tools and buttons. So maybe it was a good thing I couldn’t prime the elmeth or I would never have known this was here.

Haven’t been able to do much model kit stuff this week, but I did get this HG Char’s Zaku done…with one of those micro/mini building blocks kits. This is my first high grade ( I’ve done mg, rg, ex, entry, etc. ) and I’m happy with the simplicity. Ugh, I see a nub I didn’t fully erase. #gunpla

In the home stretch with these two stinkers, but not quite there! So far, Rodimus was the more frustrating of the two…seems about right. #gunpla #transformers

The Rodimus kit was more frustrating than the master grade Qubeley. Who would have thought? Almost finished with these two.

It’s been years since I’ve done gunpla/gundam model kits and I’m very impressed by this entry grade Nu Gundam. Minimal nubs, very poseable, and looks great without paint. I may have to dig out those older kits I’ve never built. Wish it had the funnels though. #gunpla
