Love these changes, but I was previously using a hue-shifted theme which no longer allows me to hue-shift it, so now I can't restore the theme I was using :( There's also no option in the theme editor to make user-made themes hue-shiftable. Is this planned?

I personally think the current system causes more confusion than it's worth when there are other effective methods of reporting harassment (which doesn't seem too common here to begin with). Maybe if someone reports abuse on a quote, the quoted post could be hidden until it's been reviewed by mods?

At the risk of repeating you, it really just trades sides with who can abuse it, so while the quoter can't abuse it to hate brigade, the "quotee" can now abuse it to remove context and essentially kill conversations.

I've isolated Suno's fingerprints vs. the music they're training on, and it's 100% repeatable. Prepping/training with a classifier for AI music detection over the weekend and will test accuracy over the holidays. If this works then DSPs will have way to reliably detect AI generated music. 🙃

just a heads up; this week I've seen at least three people with custom domain accounts on bluesky have to deal with impersonators, who are just grabbing the default bsky account name. Bluesky's official advice for now is to just sign up for the .bsky.social username so nobody else can:
