Saw CONCLAVE (2024) this weekend and really enjoyed it. The score elevated everything and the performances are on point right across the board. Dishy, bitchy political machinations wrapped up in the trappings of a very specific and compelling setting. Fun watch.

My goodness did I love Kelly Reichardt's SHOWING UP (2022). Both Michelle Williams and Hong Chau's performances are perfect. There is a score of pals I'll be pestering to see this one. Not only that, it's so good it has me reconsidering my longstanding dislike of pigeons.
