Got to stand on the beach at Cape Hatteras a few days ago. It was night time when I took this photo. The moon was almost full and lit up the area pretty well. Camera made it seem brighter as well. It was magnificent.

The dahlias are getting bigger and bushier. Had to stake one today. I think by Sunday they’ll all need stakes. It’ll still be awhile before I’ll have blooms but we are on our way! #dahlias

My balsam is turning a lighter pink this year. When we bought this house several years ago I thought these were weeds when they were coming up so I pulled every one of them…so I thought. One survived and bloomed. I never pull them now and each year I have more and more. #flowers #bloomscrolling

Evening yard walk. Perennials all putting out buds, will be blooming soon. Tomorrow I’ll put in a new bed for Zinnias, Hollyhocks, Cosmos, Gazania and sunflowers. Got a lot of seeds to sow still and a few annuals to plant. Hope my hip and back hold up to do it all tomorrow.
