A digital painting of Sneezle the goblin overlayed on top of a photograph of a bunch of false parasol mushrooms I found in my back yard. She is sitting on the top of a mushroom and smiling at the camera

A closer view of the previous picture, focusing on Sneezle. She's smiling and sitting with her hands between her legs, sitting flat on the top of the mushroom.

ok here's the *big* question (for U.S. folks) ... For y'all who do art or have shops or stream and all and are sole proprietors or whatnot, like, the 'business but i don't have to register' how do you taxes? I'm looking it up and it seems like there's 10 or more forms that I ***might*** need???

Sorry I just really had to say that The AI junk is a constant reminder of how bad things have gotten I can't even think about game dev or anything like that bc they co-opted the word "AI" so hard to mean so many bad things its LLMs & stuff; not game AI that makes the enemy in hollow knight jump

3183

Juniper Pines @junipenumbra.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

stop using llms and "ai chatbots" stop using agentic ai completely turn off or remove local models stop building data centers they cannot be controlled they will do things you don't want them to the endgame of this industry is -bad-

Alright, since a lot of people seem curious about it, I'm gonna indulge for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, okay?

Mimi in a bikini with her four open arms. Top arms are highlighted with the indicator "Strenght/ease of use". Her right arms are highlighted with "Dexterity". Bottom left has the indicator "underused". Her speech bubble says: "Okay, this is how hand dominance works for me:

The side of the dominant hand works similar to most two-armed people.
The left side of the brain does motor control, so right side is prioritized.
The reach and ergonomics often make the upper arms more used in
day-to-day activities, and it's easier to engage back and shoulder
muscles for effort. I can't speak for every multi-armed individual though,
there's all sorts of anatomies out there... Satisfied with the explanation?
Can I get dressed already?"

Sega as a company really is like a 'shoot myself in the foot machine' that has a team of game devs that keep pushing the gun away from any feet Is that a good analogy idk if that's a good analogy Anyway TY Tyson Hesse & all that worked during the Sonic Forces/Mania era for saving Sonic from Sega

🌸If you notice someone playing a game that you suspect has Gen AI in it, kindly let them know! The use of Gen AI is awful, but unfortunately its getting smarter and easier to blend it into things, making it harder to spot. Don't jump the throat of the possibly unaware, instead, make them aware.

Astrophotographer Adam (AJ) Smadi caught this image a few hours ago from Washington state. A thin crescent Moon, sunlight illuminating the rugged lunar surface. And 2,400 times farther away—and on the other side of the Sun—mighty Jupiter, and its moons Io (left) and Ganymede (right).

A crescent Moon seen during the day, arcing from upper left to lower right of the frame. At lower centre is the full disk of Jupiter; the small dots to its upper left and lower right and Io and Ganymede, respectively.
