work on thesis is going badly because i wrote this paragraph and i dont know how to top it

No live thing can exist sanely under conditions of cisheteropatriarchy; even football jocks and pageant queens are supposed, by Judith Butler, to be performing drag. The house on 63rd Avenue, not sane, spent its days slumbering in dreamless hunger, floorboards creaking out whines as its stomach churned. The house didn’t dream because it wasn’t supposed to dream, and so the house was perfect. It lacked naught but a white picket fence. No name but its address. The house had stood for 22 years, and it didn’t know if it could stand for much longer without going completely fucking insane. Nothing walked its floors, and whatever nothing walked there walked alone.
