miyazaki was on to something when he made the only canonical soulsborne trans woman a catholic-style e-girl

ps3 demon's souls screengrab of the 3-1 church scene where the fool's idol appears (transness inferred from her drop, the 'doll demon soul' item)

just can't put my finger on what most of the 2-day-long chicago outages have in common

comed outage map of chicago following the storm on 6/10 (with 6/11 followup) whereby the vast cluster of outages is on the south side and all over 50+ whereas those more northerly are more spaced out and far fewer in number

i might not have liked house but i hated this movie. hated hated hated hated hated this movie. hated it. hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it

on the one hand at least one person whose film opinions i respect will call me a contrarian for this but on the other hand i’ll be glad to ward off every aggressively tedious dilettante who insists that this film (one of seven that they've seen in foreign languages!) will blow my mind

my letterboxd relatively critical review of house (1977 film) available at https://letterboxd.com/junesayers/film/house/

i used the think the most morally bankrupt attempt to appropriate the suffering that the writer themself helped inflict on a group that doesn't include them was rossen's the hustler but at least the movie had the decency not to sabotage the opsec of multiple leftist operations
