This before (left) and after (right) of a cupboard is a metaphor for my life atm!

Not sure where this image came from, but felt it important to share this important information with as many people as possible. 😂

As I’m doing loads of work (see ⬇️ previous post) I thought I’d put this old drawing up, just to show that I’m still here! #Illustration #Illustrator #Drawing #Pencil #Kidlit #Children

Whenever I design a greeting card, the text always ruins it. On this, my Christmas card for 2024, the image I like, the words I like, but the actual text just does not look good! For what it’s worth, here it is. I’m only making 10. #ChristmasCard #Illustration #PolarBear #Twinkly #Christmas

The final image for the latest @Domestika course tutored by the breathtakingly talented illustrator, Simón Prades. I was to illustrate a feeling, thought or term that I wanted to express with my image: my super-power, “Positivity!”

Final image @Domestika course: interpreting a written piece, with visually compelling, meaningful illustration conveying a specific feeling or atmosphere. I chose my poem, written in my 20’s (long time ago!) after my fiancé was killed crossing a road.

I’m going to give Bluesky another try. This was a recent commission for a dear friend’s son and his wife to celebrate the birth of their first child. #illustration #drawing

After working on an illustration for a long time, it’s incredibly difficult for me to decide whether or not I’m satisfied with the finished work. Anyone else? #illustration #drawing #kidlit #birthdayboy #greetingcards #Sigh
