if we want to go purely off of what hampus himself has said: bottom line: he has used LLMs in the past to help with boilerplate and testing. to use that to discredit all of his work and label Fluxer as vibe-coded is completely unjustified because that is not what vibe coding is.

Message from Hampus, the developer of Fluxer, that reads: "Fluxer is definitively not vibe-coded — naturally, I could've just not said that I as a solo developer had leveraged LLMs to a certain extent to aid in my flow with troubleshooting etc. in my blog post, because people have no nuanced or critical thinking, but I felt like that was a fair disclosure to make if someone wondered how I could achieve such a good product largely by myself with a small group of testers over a relatively short period of time if you consider that I wasn't doing this full-time until autumn last year"

A message from Hampus that reads: "it's frankly exhausting to have spent so much hard work on something only to be witch-hunted for somehow having magically created everything using a technology that everyone who knows something about it cannot actually be created that way – I've been trying to ignore it for a long time now but my attempt at explaining my workflow to fellow developers who understand what I'm describing, when I thought that the primary audience would be mostly fellow developers, is just a hinderance at this point – people do not understand how an LLM could be used to aid a solo developer's hard work over many years in ways that is not blindly generating slop and how this type of workflow to aid in debugging and planning out large refactors helps a great deal without needing venture capital, which would've just made Fluxer a Discord 2.0, and how I do not condone any sort of slop or usage of LLMs for unethical purposes, nor do I like what the AI companies are doing, how models were created, or any of that – I've been trying to communicate this in so many different ways, be extremely clear of how Fluxer has a strict anti-AI-slop policy for contributions in the repo, and so on – but people just do not understand this

and that's a failure on my part in recognising how the target audience has shifted, so I'll have to revise the blog post to just answer the question: "Is Fluxer vibe coded?" with "No", because that is what I've been trying to convey all this time, whilst also communicating to fellow developers how my workflow has been like so that they can understand this, because I found that important when I thought developers were going to be the only audience I'd have."

i recently learned that they quietly updated minecraft on the xbox at some point to require game pass for LAN play. this is, in a word, ridiculous.

Minecraft with a warning that reads "You can not play with friends or on LAN worlds because multiplayer is disabled. Fix now." that leads to the Xbox Game Pass plan selection screen.
