iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

june @june.horse · 01/08/2026

this domain has still been used for nothing but my bluesky handle and I don't know if it's funny or not to keep it that way

110

june @june.horse · 02/06/2026

oh awesome thanks that will probably help a lot

010

june @june.horse · 02/06/2026

sounds like if anything the bluesky engineers did a better job of making a protocol than mastodon lmao

000

june @june.horse · 02/06/2026

tbh I've barely used this account anyways so I don't particularly mind making a new one but it would be cool if I could just move it anyways

000

june @june.horse · 02/06/2026

hell yea, can you move users to a new instance or does it require a new account entirely? wondering if I'd need to make a new account if I went to a different host

200

june @june.horse · 02/06/2026

thank you! I have quite a bit of tech experience so I think I'm comfortable doing whatever, so I will look into this stuff. Does bluesky properly interact with other servers or is it kinda self-contained to it's own bubble?

110

june @june.horse · 01/06/2026

hoping you can find a way out of your situation sooner than later it really does suck :<

010

june @june.horse · 01/06/2026

do you have any suggestions you could pass? I don't really like using the "official" platform so I'd like to use anything alternative that exists

100

june @june.horse · 01/06/2026

feel this but it's mostly that I've kinda shutin'd myself because of anxiety and gender dysphoria and I have no idea how to actually interact with the outside world outside of the internet D:

110

june @june.horse · 01/06/2026

I'm banned from twitter so I'll try bluesky until my account gets unsuspended how do I find funny shit for my feed

130

june @june.horse · 19/03/2025

The only thing holding back Linux is companies going waaah waaaah security risk to run my anti cheat on not windows and then intentionally blocking wine

140

june @june.horse · 04/03/2025

bought the new domain so I will just swap to it lol !

260

june @june.horse · 19/01/2025

tragic that I can't go to magfest

020

june @june.horse · 16/01/2025

You can write bad code but I'm gonna call it out when you try to act elitist over others

010

june @june.horse · 16/01/2025

guy who had someone else write 99% of the code that survived to modern Minecraft: you need to write a game engine to be a programmer actually

110

june @june.horse · 16/01/2025

I knew notch was a piece of shit but I didn't know this guy unironically thinks you have to write your own game engine if you want to call yourself a programmer Dude I don't know if you wanna be speaking when your Minecraft code legitimately sucked ass we can all see it

330

june @june.horse · 28/10/2024

counterpoint: I get impatient after a week when I play something good I need more I am the ultimate consumer...

050

june @june.horse · 28/10/2024

yep. some even call me a "bluesky elder" if you didn't know. heh.

020

june @june.horse · 28/10/2024

I think even then I'm not sure how much I like bluesky, it still feels very "new internet" to me, which is probably the point because it's basically just trying to emulate twitter, but the social media format has always sucked!!! no real way to get any users though.. it's a standstill

010

june @june.horse · 28/10/2024

bluesky is a start (I think it's decentralized with it's own protocol, would have preferred if it used ActivityPub though), but I have a feeling it will just fade out again and people will just flock back to twitter like someone lit a fire and let it die out

120

june @june.horse · 28/10/2024

am I the only one who wishes the internet didn't get structured in such a centralized way? I wish forums and decentralized chat applications (i.e. irc) were still a *popular* thing in modern day but nobody uses them so there's no way to really use that stuff on the regular

100

june @june.horse · 27/10/2024

I'm an oldgen you wouldn't get it

120

june @june.horse · 27/10/2024

If you're talking about project moon I believe she and the company decided that leaving the company is the best option, pretty sure Korean incels can get quite violent so they got caught in a bit of a bad situation. Wish it could've been different though :[

090

june @june.horse · 26/10/2024
