the biggest contrivance is "the pokemon of the future lose their powers*", to explain why they'd be fighting using mecha instead *some of them start developing powers again which starts the inciting conflict but jfhghkgnmfdnf yeah it's a brainstorm i can't stop. it'll stop when it stops, haha ^_^;

OCs. Super. Daigo, Madoka, & Gomora. #pmd Madoka, once a human, was turned into a Cyndaquil with hopelessly scrambled memories & forced into an uncomfortable situation. But... Daigo is an upbeat, though thoroughly weird Chikorita determined to bring light to Madoka's life, & to see the world!

In front of a backdrop with the Tree of Life, the trio from Serene Village, Team Ultra, pose. our character Role, being a 3-way hybrid when hybrids are not typical in my PMD world. 3-species is basically unheard of. the average pokemon civilian in our setting likely thinks she's some sort of "sewn together" science experiment by the alchemists

Got struck by inspiration because, #nickitday >w< I know her hybrid design does strike mostly on her Vulpix & Zorua 1/3rds, but she still is part-Nickit! And just between you & me, Role grows to love getting her paws on as many items as she can carry~! Items good! #pmd

Honestly, as long as I make some kind of difference in exact implementation (probably under instead of over the outlines), the "oh god why is it so bright? something is seriously wrong and i'm in SO much danger" lighting could double as a "quaint watercolor, gen 1 & 2-esque" look
