I live on a busy street. Im watching traffic go by. Just saw a postal carrier drive by in one of those new weird looking trucks; full head down, watching his phone cruising along at about 40mph in a 30 zone. I think it points to the fact that people make jokes about things they fear. They are extremely uncomfortable with the idea of being left to raise a child on THEIR own and can't fathom how you're going to do it. So jokes. Still not funny tho. Negativity sucks when support would be beneficial.

This is my parsley patch. On a whim I threw some seeds into a pile of dirt. A small patch grew and I used it when cooking just because. I left it to seed and it peppered the yard with babies. I mow anything outside the box, but now its flowering and attracting bee friends! So Happy! #GardenSky 🌱

My son (age 12) and I have finished the Fablehaven / Dragonwatch series just last week.... And now we wait for the final book in October! That is sooooo far away. I think we are just gonna have e to pick up another Brandon Mull series in the meantime. Lol

📚💙 Ran thru this. It was a book that was on a fantasy feature at the library and I saw it on bsky also. Fairly quick pace, likable characters easy to get swept away with. Loved it but was slightly disappointed I didnt realize there was a sequel until the last chapter! #BookSky #ReadThis #Fantasy

I have been wearing a mask at work since the mandate. Mine are homemade cloth. No one questions me about it anymore. I have not been sick once in 5 years. The main reason: the mask keeps me from rubbing my face all day with dirty hands. Its really simple.

In the sea of never-ending disappointment that is daily life, it's a small victory to put to rest a book that just doesn't mesh with your mind. It hurts to let it go because you feel you have failed. But in the long run you will read many more words you enjoy than words you hate. Move on. It is ok.📚
