If you guessed Kingdom Hearts 1, you won. Its a good game. And I had a lot of fun with it. The plot isn't as complex or zaney as people make it out to be frankly. I'll keep it short so I don't write a whole essay, But: It suffers from, I guess i'd call it, "meta narrative dissonance".

For all intents and purposes, this is a joke.

Oh I get it now, Phantom Island is a thematic sequel to Butterfly 3000 because both are partly about how Stu worries how his kids will think of the life he leads, the world and the people that inhabit it. And "Grow Wings And Fly" makes the final connection between them at the end of the album.

Unfortunately I might have mean things to say about the story in a game a lot of people like.

(Rambling) My "You are whatever you think you are" spiel for NGS is backed by other games in the series. In PSO1, the Hunters Guild and EP2/4 quests are technically a different group of characters doing the quests compared to the government quests in EP1. But you can choose if they are the same.

I think the next Kingdom Hearts game, since it takes place in unreality, should exclusive take place in Disney Channel and Direct to DVD/VHS Disney Movie worlds. How would Sora fare in Johnny Tsunami Alaska.

I ponder quite a bit about giving Lady a "Thorn in her side Detective". But I don't think it would add much. They wouldn't be the antagonist, and would have no role to play in the latter half of the book. Nor can they be a love interest since Lady is actively trying to get engaged to someone. Shrug.

99% of all my un-posted posts are me going "I think X character" proceeded by me spoiling random plot elements about said character. I wish my brain didn't default to this dribble. It is very reductive and stifles my actual attempts to articulate things.

My personal reasons why I think non-gaming VR flopped is that: 1. Normal joes hate extra steps. Setting up VR is tedious and not intuitive for "virtual meetings". 2. Web3 crypto bs lol 3. Video game controllers are just not enticing to the target audience. + Million other tiny reasons.
