A ★★★★★ review of Mars Express (2023)

Head over heels. Walks an excessively travelled trail in terms of themes and all but it's execution has me completely enraptured. Some real movie nerds made this, man. There's a split diopter shot! In...

my Postosuchus for #maysozoic gets supervised by my helper. Does Singam enjoys #paleoart ? I can't tell, but surely he likes the sketchbook, as a mat to rest onto.

after the lambeosaurus I went down a rabbit hole of more hadrosaurs in my sketchbook. Here I colored one. With the color scheme I wanted to redo that of one of my favourite toys as a kid (that's why it's a little lame 😅) #maysozoic #paleoart

Edmontosaurus for #Maysozoic, I'm starting to mess up the correct order of these animals, it's because I'm late on many of them but I promise, they won't stop coming!

#Maysozoic day 9: Archaeopteryx, my beloved! they're so hard to draw well x_x with the colors I wanted to reference the Maurice Wilson illustration but I don't think they fit my design too well :/

I've got some late #Maysozoic entries, together: Rugops and Lokiceratops! Camouflaging mammals for the carnivore's palette and ... Parrot fishes for the ceratopsyd's one (pretty randomly, maybe just for the parrot-resembling beak and my love for bright colors). Bonus sketches included!

entry #2: Guan Long, the crowned dragon is here! Basically a tyrannosaurid version of a Dilophosaurus (somewhere probably a paleontologist had a stroke when I wrote that phrase down)

#Maysozoic Here's my Alamosaurus in all its thundering might! Sauropod proportions are very confusing to me, I need to study them further, I always got distracted with their theropod cousins!

Created for my new book: In the remote realms of the Twilight Belt on Mercury, the recent vanishing of large animals has impelled human ingenuity to find practical applications for alchemical speculations; the exquisite craftsmanship of these artificial beasts is but an echo of their organic models.
