No Man's Land has been out a week. Still the most honest thing I've recorded — mid-tempo, bittersweet, mostly about standing in a room watching everyone else have a better time. hypeddit.com/fui3tq #IndieRock #NewMusic #Julience

Rock isn't dead, it just stopped being the default. 🎸 It moved to smaller rooms and Bandcamp pages — which honestly suits it. Which current band would you point a skeptic toward? #rockmusic #indiemusic #music #indie

Rory Gallagher is the guitarist I keep coming back to. 🔥 No mystique, no costume — just a man and a beaten-up Strat playing like the room might catch fire. Who's your "no gimmicks" player? #rockmusic #rorygallagher #Guitar

Streaming pays fractions of a cent while middlemen sell "guaranteed placement" to the artists who can least afford it. 🎧 Good news: nothing stops you from building an audience directly. Who's doing that well right now? #indieartists [I'm still in the early stages myself 🤫 ]

Not purism for its own sake. Plugins are fine tools. But a mic in a room with an amp that's slightly unhappy — the take just sits differently. What's the one piece of gear you'd never replace with software?

000

Julience - Indie Rock from Manchester @julience.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

A tube amp breaking up isn't a sound; it's a mood. You can't get it from a plugin. I've tried. 🎛️ Where do you land — analog warmth or digital control? #rockmusic #indiemusic

Guitar, bass, drums, keys — then mixing your own mistakes at 1 am with nobody to blame. 🥁 Best part: it sounds exactly like it should. Worst part: nobody tells you when you're wrong. One-man band — freedom or trap? #indiemusic #solo

'Time Is A Weapon' is about how quietly it takes things from you. No label is pushing it, so every listen is the only thing telling an algorithm that a song nobody paid for is worth showing to someone else. Four honest minutes, if you've got them: julience.com/songs/time-...

Manchester doesn't produce polite bands. Joy Division, The Fall, Stone Roses, Oasis - all of them sounded like they had something to prove and no patience left. Make guitar music here and you inherit that whether you want it or not. Which Manchester band still sounds urgent to you? #Manchester
