Agreed, but it is already too late. The genii will not go back into the bottle. But the sooner that russia is defeated, the sooner that Europe can try to set realistic limits on AI. Likewise we can do nothing about ecological issues until the war is over.

Sadly, my generation allowed it to get to this state and for that I am sorry. So now it comes to the current and future generations to salvage what can be saved. I hope that they can and that in time they will build a better world. But first russia must be defeated. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦❤️

Maybe it is time for the US to get a new President, then the US could start putting real pressure on russia, who could then get a new President who would end the war, remove russian troops from Ukraine, who would then also have a new President, as I am sure that Zelenskyy would love to retire.

The core issue is that liberal democracies always assume that others will play by the rules. Extremists never do. Democracies need to understand this and create a strict set of rules within which politics can play. Then enforce them HARD.

I haven't read it. But it is clear and has been for to those who could see it, that the US was heading this way for the last 50 years. A 2-party political system is inherently flawed, prone to corruption.

The US policy was based on the Dollar being the Global trading currency. Other countries would take on some of the US debt. But trump has annoyed so many of the US allies that they are reconsidering. The future for the US economy looks bleak.
