I never did find it but I did find a gorgeous painting reference “Looking for my Ball” 20”x 20” #oilpainting #landscapepainting #art

Oil painting of a forest with tall slender trees, vibrant green canopy, and strong red/orange ground tones. Light filters through trees and creates vibrant shadows.

I’ve been away from the studio off and on for the last 3 years(!) because I’ve been obsessed with my 2 new grandgirls ❤️. But yesterday I made it there and had SO MUCH FUN starting on some new work. It felt so good to be back in my personal happy place, music blaring, paint flying 😁😁😁 #oilpainting

“Turquoise Ribbon” 16”x 12” Powerful skies are always a draw, but sometimes it’s the light play on the water that wants to steal the show. 😉 #painting #art #oilpainting #canadianartist #landscapepainting #modernlandscape #openimpressionism @artfeed.bluesky.social

Guilded Knoll 12”x 12” Part of my private collection. Some of my babies just need to stay with me for a while before I’m ready for them to leave the nest. #privatecollection #art #painting #oilpainting #modernlandscape #openimpressionism #boldcolour #boldbrush #oillandscape #artshare #canadianart

“Towering Bluffs” 24”x 24” This one was a bit of a departure for me but I enjoyed the opportunity to play with the value and saturation of the atmospheric perspective and the complementary colours #art #painting #oilpainting #colour #contemporaryart #landscapepainting #modernlandscape #canadianart

At 36”x 48” this was a large painting for me. It gave me a run for my money but I felt like the persistence finally paid off. “Around the Bend” #art #painting #oilpainting #canadianart #boldbrush #contemporaryart #color #colour #modernlandscape #landscape #shoreline #lakepainting #lake @bsky.art

My dear pup Darby and I would sit at this spot at dawn. It was such a peaceful, even transcendent experience, quietly shared with my BFF. Still miss her every day ❤️ “Tranquil Vantage” 48”x 48” #oilpainting #art #contemporaryart #modernlandscape #canadianart #tranquility #ontario #waterpainting

Anyone else craving fresh spring greens? We’ve had so much snow lately, and don’t get me wrong, it’s stunning in its own way, but man o man, I’m craving me some bright and beautiful spring greens about now! 🌿🌱 “Spring Shoreline” #painting #spring #art #canadianart #artist #canadianartist

“Morning has Broken” 40”x 24” oil A scene from my ‘hood that is a favourite spot for watching the sunrise in all seasons. A bit of a departure for me with a more muted palette to reflect the way the snow softens everything, especially at dawn
