Pennsylvania in person on November 3rd with my wife and 2 little children. We've been bringing them since they were born for every election, big or small.

People don't tend to be harsh with Toyota despite this and their $1m donation to the Inauguration Fund. It was an unusual but calculated move to avoid negative treatment. He also stepped down as CEO in 2023. However, Toyota makes the best affordable sedans. We have 2 but bought them used 🫠.

How many species of native plants though? 😅 What about pollinators? Missed opportunity there, Rockstar Games.

I know, but I see these filters on regular personal vehicles all over the place in the Greater Philadelphia area. If they get stopped, they probably just show their badge and are let go.

Clinton won Philadelphia in 2016 with 82% of the vote. Also, all sorrounding counties also voted Blue, including Bucks.

JBen @juliben.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Harris won Philly with 78% of the vote. Similarly, every sorrounding county voted overwhelmingly Blue except for Bucks County, which Trump won by 0.1%.

Philly? You need to check that again.

A lot of individuals in law enforcement have devices or films to block their license plates on their personal vehicles. These are illegal for the rest of us in most, if not all, States.

Is anyone really buying houses at these prices and with these rates? Every time I open Zillow it looks like houses are more expensive and interest rates are higher.

I echo the above sentiments. I hope you get well quickly.

This baby followed me home last night. I went for a walk and heard loud meowing. About an hour later it was still meowing. I came closer and it appeared behind me. It started headbutting and lightly scratching. I gave it a few pets and it just kept following me all the way inside. #cats #philly

My parents had a 1959 soft top and a 1960 hard top when we still lived in Puerto Rico. Both in red. They sold them, both still working. Those things were built to outlast the human species.

The Treaty of Paris is the moment the nation actually existed in law while the Declaration was an act of will by a body with no legal standing which could have failed at any given moment between 1776 and 1781.

JBen @juliben.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Also it's the day before my birthday so I would not complain if you decreed it a holiday 🤣

JBen @juliben.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

September 3rd isn't either. It's the day the War of Independence came to an end with the ratification of the Treaty of Paris in 1783. If anything, it's more significant than July 4th. The declaration would have meant nothing had the British won. If it hadn't been for the French, they would have won.

I bought a hybrid after my first car, a 6 cylinder, was stolen. While I do sometimes miss the engine power (especially when driving around people being silly), I do love seeing my MPG be above 40 mpg on a consistent basis on my commute. I'm now looking for a job that allows me to commute by rail.

On average it seems small because most people use it for word processing. If you split usage by request: Word processing: Up to 40wh for a very long paper Voice: somewhere between 40wh and 600wh, or more Image and Video: most hungry, between 30wh for a small image to over 900wh for a short video.
