Today I learned that if you type “>>” in Apple Notes, you can create a link to another note 🤯 What a powerful hidden feature!

my best friend is one of those people who explore rural Japan looking for abandoned properties and he recently found these signs out in the country
a series of large signs in a country field with messages such as “NAMES ARE THE GRAVES OF THINGS” and “LIFE IS THE GRAVE OF DEATH” and, ominously, “IAM YOUR GRAVE”a series of large signs in a country field with messages such as “NAMES ARE THE GRAVES OF THINGS” and “LIFE IS THE GRAVE OF DEATH” and, ominously, “IAM YOUR GRAVE”a series of large signs in a country field with messages such as “NAMES ARE THE GRAVES OF THINGS” and “LIFE IS THE GRAVE OF DEATH” and, ominously, “IAM YOUR GRAVE”

Exceedingly important discovery: Ikea Kallax shelves are exactly two LEGO studs wide. A simple bracket shape like this will stay in place without any support.

Continuing to empty my office at the house. Forgot about this, which I created during the pandemic for use during a virtual school visit, showing one way to brainstorm different characters & faces. Got the idea from a teacher friend! #Edusky

With Russian, Ukrainian, and now also Iranian airspace closed, only a small passage remains for international flights from Europe to Asia. My colleague @zacys.bsky.social wrote about how some airlines are profiting more from this than others, and I created this map. www.zeit.de/wirtschaft/2...
Globe of the Eastern hemisphere showing flight tracks between Frankfurt, Germany, and various destinations in Asia, including Mumbai, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Russia, Ukraine and Iran are highlighted.

Satellite view of swirling clouds in the wake of the Canary Islands. Wind is blowing off the African Continent (visible on the right-hand side of the image) over the mountainous Canaries. This creates vortices and eddies that are often visible in low-level clouds over the Atlantic Ocean.

The robot apocalypse hasn't happened yet, but still I can't escape the feeling that something has gone horribly wrong... Cartoon for Dutch newspaper @trouw.nl. More of my work for Trouw: www.trouw.nl/cartoons/tje... #ArtificialIntelligence #creativity #work #GenerativeAI
Cartoon showing a street in the rain. A man on a bike is delivering food, while another courier is delivering packages from Amazon. Two other workers are collecting garbage. Inside one of the houses on the street, we see robots labeled 'AI' sitting dry and warm, engaged in making a paining, playing the violin and writing.

Students find a real grid/architectural feature in the world, take a picture of it, then use that as the basis for the composition of a one-page comic! Always a treat – this batch of them are stellar! (From my intro Making course). Try it yourself!
