Here is an album of photos I took of the huge fireworks spectacle that was put on Saturday as the 4th became the 5th. I haven't gone in and cut down the number, so it's a lot of pictures. I took these from the roof of my apartment building. Take with a Nikon Z50ii w/ the 50-250 mm zoom lens.

I wished I liked the new #Supergirl film more, but in many ways it drifted a bit too far from the comic it's based on. The villain is flat, and the script drags in places, but Milly Alcock is very good. Makeup, Production Design, and VFX are very good. Check out my full #Review.

I came into The Mandalorian & Grogu completely cold, never watched an episode of the show, and honestly, this movie worked as a fun big-screen Star Wars adventure. Courtney A. Kemp’s #Nemesis is one of the best original Netflix shows this year. A mix of Heat with New Jack City and, of course, Power - Nemesis has a perfect balance of heist movie, cops and robbers, and nighttime soap melodrama. On top of that, it's full of beautiful Black people in Los Angeles.

Punisher: One Last Kill is an easy favorite for me. Jon Bernthal gives one of the strongest performances in the MCU as Frank Castle. The special balances emotional grief with some incredibly brutal action. Once it ramps up, it feels like The Raid mixed with a Punisher comic from the early ‘90s.

I saw Michael last night, and while I feel the film could be better, the current RT score is a bit much. The movie feels a bit shallow, but it has some good performances, is shot well, and sounds fantastic. This might be one you have to see for yourself to judge. #MovieReview #Michael
