lmao what a tool. All the scenes I'm a part of have been incredibly vibrant these last few years, as more people get into the hobby. I have seen so many new and revived projects making huge strides. Lots of releases. All without AI. Now all these shitty slop projects are just demoralizing everyone.

People really do not understand the ridiculous amount of hours of effort that goes into these patches, not only translation/editing/etc., but the hacking as well. These slop patches do a shoddy job with the translation, but make very little to no real effort on the hacking side. Yet no one cares.

Unless you're streaming from outside your home network, the issue isn't your internet (the traffic is all local). Wired ps5 and a good router and good signal are what you need to stream well. That said, I've had pretty decent experiences using chiaki on my steam deck. It's not perfect but it's nice.

Jeanne d'Arc was pretty interesting and different. I also enjoyed WA XF, still haven't played/completed any other WA game... Persona 2 duology was really fun, but gameplay wise hasn't aged well at all. There will always be Suikoden 1+2... One day ;)

Cool concept! Nicely done! I hate games with custom encodings, luckily I haven't had to mess with many, and the one I did it was easy enough to dump the font graphics and analyze the code that maps the encoded text into coordinates in the images. (shudders at the thought of manually mapping kanji)

My biggest frown was over the whole physical just being a key without any game data/requiring you to download everything. And supposedly you have to pay an extra $10 for that privilege? They're just trying to force out physical sales. I mean, their choice. I'll sit in the maybe later camp for now.
