I can’t think of any other specifically that wowed me by others off the top of my head, but I always will remember the effort one puts into a costume. Going the full gamut of sewing or building or even molding a costume with professional materials. Commitment always gets big points in my book

I mentioned before my Groucho Marx n Charlie Chaplin costumes, but I remember going as Mario in middle school and being paranoid about getting the white gloves dirty haha. Last year I dressed up as an organ grinder with an actual organ, and a few years before I had a simple teddy bear costume.

Not everyone’s a fan of Halloween, but do you enjoy the fall/autumn season as a whole? If so, what do you enjoy most about it?

My fav is John Carpenter’s The Thing, hands down. I don’t have much of an eye or stomach for most horror movies, but I had to make an exception for that one just from word of mouth alone

Oh absolutely, but was always the most mundane things. Sudden shivers n cold/warm spots, forgetting why you walked into a room, missing items, etc... it's gotta be ghosts.

Aimes and Pawson live amongst creepy things all the time, so Halloween is just an excuse to get candy! The others love it, but sadly their costumes always have to accentuate or feature their diapers prominently, much to their annoyance. But they'll put up with it for candy!

Other than certain candies like the peanut butter pumpkins or tiny kitkats, I like more of the general fall stuff. I'm slowly over time becoming more of a pumpkin spice bitch haha. I also make sure to grab a few of those cinnamon scented pinecones or brooms.

I wish I enjoyed more of them, but I don't like being jumpscared or excessive violent gore. But there's a few that are amazing, like John Carpenter's The Thing or some of the classic old horror movies from the 30's n 40's.

Oooh I'd want it to be somewhere quaint, like a small town, but one that sort of gets a kick out of the "local ghost" sightings and I'd be like a famous but unknown sort of entity of the town. The idea of being partially feared but at the same time sort of respected or revered would be neat.

Oh man that's tough. My tastes usually lie in the less scary/creepy and more light hearted or humorous camp, but if i had to recommend the show to someone and pick the go-to's: -Time Enough At Last -The Monsters are Due on Maple Street -The After Hours -The Masks -The Obsolete Man among many others

I was the type to go through phases, where I'd love one candy for a while and then fall out of it for something else. But it's hard to resist a Reese's Stick, just the right amount of chocolate to PB to wafer. I'm also kind of a "young old person", so I like peppermint patties n such.

Never scared, but definitely discomfort, and moreso from cringe or second hand embarrassment. I've legit seen folks in those awful big baby costumes, and a few ignorant folks wearing tasteless or insensitive/offensive costumes, like dressing up like indian chiefs or like Adolf. Yikes!

I wish I could stomach gory horror movies, but i can't stand gore n jumpscares, so I don't watch many of them. I've watched friends play like Resident Evil games and that was spooky, and as kid I had nightmares for weeks after watching "Nightmare on Elm Street"

Every year my friend makes chili n we watch Halloween cartoons n such, very chill. I usually don't care for the commitment of Halloween, but I wish I had more energy for it to go all out with decorating n going to parties n dressing up.

One year in school we had to read The Crucible, so we took a trip up to Salem, Massachusetts in October, and it was gorgeous. The leaves, the smells n sights. It really felt picturesque.

And every year me n my friend watch Halloween stuff and they make a great turkey chilli with Fritos, and we hand out candy to trick or treaters!

Oh man, I remember going as Groucho Marx one year and Charlie Chaplin the next (I was a kid, go figure how I knew who both of those were). I remember my nose running and making the black paint for the mustaches run.
