One day I'll find a fully intact and fresh Stinkhorn.
A slightly damaged stinkhorn mushroom. Its sac is visible at its base and its head has been removed (possibly the sac-like object to its left).A close up of the structure of the stem of a stinkhorn mushroom.

Directory Dungeon was selected for the #OutOfTheBoxGames event on Steam (organised by Coven). Go check out a bunch of games doing things you might not have seen before: store.steampowered.com/curator/4619... #videogames #indiegames #experimental
The left side reads "Out Of The Box. A curated showvase of games that dare to do things differently. Powered by COVEN", with a graphic of a cat hiding in a cardboard box. The right side shows the logo of the game Directory Dungeon, and underneath the text "Sept 21-28 ON STEAM".

I wrote a rambling devlog about my experience trying to do the cover art for Terminal Reign as pixel art (I gave up in the end), if you'd like to read: www.indiedb.com/games/termin... #indiedev #indiegames #devlog #pixelart
A pixel art steam header capsule with a 920 by 430 resolution. The title reads "Terminal Reign", beneath which is a skull and wreath emblem. The background is a cross between a radar graph and a net.

I got a very cool new t-shirt. You can get one too and support game workers! @gameworkers.co.uk @nosweatuk.bsky.social
A black t-shirt with the text "IWGB GAME WORKERS" and graphics of a pink heart with game controller buttons, the number 34 representing the 34 unionising games workers recently fired by Rockstar, and a sapling representing the unionisation movement.A tag attached to the t-shirt, reading: NO SWEAT. No Sweat campaigns for workers rights around the world. No Sweat supports and funds independent trade unions. Workers in trade unions have the power to fight for better wages and conditions. No Sweat T-shirts are made by unionised garment workers in India. Profits from No Sweat T-shirts are used to fund sweatshop workers' struggles. nosweat.org.uk

Because file explorers are not ideal engines for video games, I had to write plenty of unit tests for Directory Dungeon. So now you have to look at them and go "Ooo, nice unit tests." #gamedev #indiedev #indiegames

Does anything special happen once you get to 100 reviews?... Help me find out! :)
A cropped screenshot of the Steam store page for the game Deep Space Exploitation. The description reads "Deep Space Exploitation is a space mining game featuring 2D physics, fully destructible asteroids, and a story of survival under an exploitative corporation. Use your equipment wisely, upgrade your ship, and make difficult decisions to secure your future!".
The reviews read "Very Positive (99)", with a tooltip that reads "95% of the 99 user reviews for this game are positive.".

This is a little interactive puzzle I added just before release. It turned out to be pretty tricky to implement in a user friendly way since the game wants to rename folders while the explorer is viewing them or their files are currently in the clipboard.

I've been baking some practice loaves in preparation for providing bread for an event soon. I have an okay domestic oven so getting a nice consistent bake like this with multiple loaves at once took some trial and error.
