As a side project, I am searching for folk tales from other cultures and check what their differences from and similarities with German folk tales are. Suggestions are welcome. My primary criteria are: * They should be from cultures from outside of Europe * They should be written by people *from* that culture Ideally, they should also be translated into English (or German) from that same culture. I realize these criteria may be hard to fulfill, and I might be willing to make an exception.
