What happened yesterday in Boulder was horrifying and heartbreaking — a terrible act of violence against members of our Jewish community, many of whom are seniors. My heart is with the victims of this senseless attack, their families, and everyone grappling with the trauma.

My heart is broken following today’s attack on my home of Boulder and Colorado’s Jewish community. Divisive, hateful rhetoric must stop. We all must commit to peace and safety in both our words and our actions. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all those impacted.

Lawmakers closed a $1.2 billion shortfall to balance the budget. But they largely avoided deep cuts to three of the biggest spending areas: health care, K-12 and higher education.

“Too often, insurance companies deny necessary mental health claims with little to no justification, and Coloradans already struggling end up with huge costs or no care at all," said @judyamabileco.bsky.social. "This bill would help Coloradans get the care they need at a price they can afford.”
