I have visited a friend in Mangana a few times and always wondered what it was named for. Thanks for clearing that up. The name of the nearby town of Mathinna I was able to look up, and that is such a sad story of an abandoned child.

Which begs the question: why have NONE of the recommendations been implemented? Because on the surface the sad answer appears to be 'because racism'.

I made a few replies to the PHON voters moaning about being banned, saying that she hadn't banned anyone, asking them to read it again, and adding "Tasmania's 50% functional illiteracy rate is a curse on this state!" Which it is.
