I took this photo of a drawing by a woman and her young daughter in Union Square on September 13, 2001. I made a webpage with more images from that day for my seminar on "Religious Worlds of NY," which had been scheduled to meet for the first time that afternoon. www.princeton.edu/~jweisenf/me...

I spent the day at the Equal Justice Initiative’s Legacy Sites in Montgomery. I have lots of thoughts about narrative choices and absences, but it is a truly impressive project. Visitors were so engaged.
