I got an e-arc of the forthcoming clan wars book and it contains the following hilarious bit of foreshadowing. If this is what we can expect from the series I’m excited about it.

He wore the signature armor of his own design, forged by the finest artisans among the Crab. The steel plates had been carefully worked to mimic the appearance of an actual crab. The jutting points and odd angles struck Yakamo as useless, perhaps even counterproductive, but he could not deny the effect. Despite his physical shortcomings, when Sukune donned that armor and put on his helmet, he became a living banner of the Crab.

Said goodbye to my uncle Bryan today. When I was growing up, my dad was nowhere, but my uncles more than stepped into the gap. I have super clear memories of going up to Bryan’s house as a kid and spending hours playing Loom with him and his son.

a man and an alien in problematically asianesque karate gis bow to eachother from the babylon 5 episode TKO. in the background the judge is similarly problematically attired but very nicely lit, so at least the cinematographer was doing good work even if the writers werent.
