FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK HOT FUZZ (HOT FUZZ as a second film in the Cornetto trilogy is quite a stretch... but I like the chutzpah it took to wildcard it so I'm voting for it!)

Joker: Folie à Deux The Accountant 2 Wildcard: Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga [2024-I would argue Fury Road was a reboot (even though same filmmaker, different lead actor) making Furiosa part II in the new reboot series of films - and we already discussed prequels count)

Furiosa (Anya Taylor-Joy) Amidst Flames

Yeah I reread your rules and it says second in a series. It doesn't say it has to be a "sequel". 👍

Judd Taylor @juddtaylor.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

A Quiet Place: Part II Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (WOW am I the only one who liked this? What can I say, I like satirical comedy & Maria Bakalova is hilarious!) Wildcards: PEARL (2022-Ti West, X Part II; Not in the main lineup? 😱) DEATH ON THE NILE

Yikes... Nothing in the main lineup. Wildcard: 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE (are we including spiritual sequels? I say yes)

Judd Taylor @juddtaylor.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Thanks the dinosaur Gods LOST WORLD is #5! Got 3 on this one, and LW was my 4th (no SCREAM 2).

THE DARK KNIGHT Wildcards: CLERKS 2 (the donkey show alone should have gotten this into the main lineup 😥) RED CLIFF II (2009-John Woo) QUANTUM OF SOLACE (Can we count this as the 2nd Craig Bond? Technically new Bond = reboot. I actually always liked this one, especially Amalric as villian)

Judd Taylor @juddtaylor.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

Get your votes in. And don't forget about those arthouse sequels for your Wildcards: Rob Zombie's THE DEVIL'S REJECTS and Wong Kar-wai's 2046!

Judd Taylor @juddtaylor.bsky.social · 13/06/2026

Yikes, not really compelled to vote for any of these... What a mostly bad stretch of sequels 😳 But I'll go with this for Guillermo: BLADE 2

Blade2: Dog Alien Monster
