the main thing abt the move transition plugin is that its default settings are bad you have to really play around with it to get a feel for what works/looks good... and even then there's usually one or two things i forget about. e.g. the way the scoreboard zooms to the center in the 2nd clip

between games I was slowly compositing the split screen, thinking i'd cut to it for mid-game popoffs to capture more of the LAN feel for the stream. my right hand man Doeboy suggested using the move transition (whose plugin was luckily already installed) since cutting might be too disruptive

For abt 75% of the time I was the one doing so for main splat stream yes. For meal and other breaks, or if I was in turn filling in for @bigpivot.bsky.social on Sidestream, @jpg.level1.tv and @nitrogue.level1.tv would come from elsewhere to fill in or @doebus.bsky.social would slide from his chair

Hi oomfs there were many of you I wished to see / hang out with a lot more but I was busy (as usual for directing stream) but also my travel schedule was suuuper rough this year. Case in point: had to take the 2am shuttle out of Sandusky and once I'm back home I have a tough workday ahead.
