On the whole, Captain America: Brave New World was a good thrill and a win. Worth seeing in theaters if you like the look of the trailers, but expect less Red in the movie than the marketing would have you think.

I also felt like some things were very "shallow". The Leader's plan was shallow, the war themes were shallow. Even the use of Celestial Island is shallow in the grand scheme of things. The post credits scene also sucked, but I never care. They definitely could have done more with the conflicts.

Red Hulk is not in the movie that much, but in my opinion, that's a fault of the marketing rather than the film. Plus, Ross is a main character in the whole movie. Some actual negatives would be: obvious green screen, disjointed scenes, and a disappointing main villain in The Leader.

The action was thrilling, with the aviation being the highlight for me. This movie also has some of the best use of the shield in the MCU. Some of the editing during hand to hand fights was choppy and hard to follow, but I was fine with it. The Red Hulk battle was also well done.

I'd go as far to say I enjoyed Sam in this movie more than Steve in a majority of his appearances. Ross is surprisingly emotional, with some of the best scenes in the movie centered on him and his emotions. Joaquin Torres was also fine as the young and eager new Falcon. Isaiah Bradley was amazing.

I really liked Captain America: Brave New World. It's not the best film out there but I enjoyed it the entire way through. While some side characters are undercooked and Giancarlo Esposito is wasted, both Mackie and Ford give AMAZING performances as 2 great lead characters.

I think that's a good way to manage the wait. Seeing as the wait has been the biggest "issue" of sorts. It might be a little less easy to follow that way but it'd be worth it.

What a fantastic and definitely intentional choice with thought behind it, bravo you've done it again

it may be weird to specifically point this out - but the bath scene with Cupido is where the visual improvement really shines. So, overall, great update. Can't wait for more!

The main dilemma is that Profundus still believes in what is right, but 'right' isn't an option for him or anyone in Damnatio. I appreciate the ending of this update. Some of the other ends felt like sorta awkward places to leave on, but this was very natural. It sets up the next part well.

Somehow, I feel like I'm just now "getting" the idea behind Profundus. He's someone who, by all accounts, caused just as much, maybe more suffering than many others. But he (too our knowledge) never dealt that pain face to face, so he's in this weird zone of being moral and being a monster.

This was a great update! I was mostly surprised by how long it was, it was awesome. The art feels like its majorly gotten better too. This is probably my favorite banter between the characters yet. It's both entertaining and weighted. It gets complex but doesn't stop being in character and in tone.
