I remember watching a movie in a theater that featured a graphic scene of someone being stabbed slowly on a boat, but I was so young I can't remember what movie was it. I also remember at a very young age watching Tales of the Crypt cause one episode featured the Three Little Pigs...yeah. 😐

Watched the 2 episode of Golden Axe, & I kind of like it so far. Got a few laughs & the animation is pretty good. Might be an unpopular opinion, but hey. Also the Art Director has drawn furry stuff, stated they knew exactly what they were doing with Chronos, & wants to share some early designs.

This was always a fun filler to watch. Also remembered when they had to color Goku's SSJ hair black to not spoil the form for Pikkon. So many unique characters that I'm sure a lot wish certain ones were actually canon. Well, one did make a cameo in the DBS manga.

So, came across a thumbnail on YT comparing the upcoming Golden Axe cartoon w/ Thundercats Roar. Putting aside the absurd comparison, there is something I've been meaning to get off my chest about Roar... How some people reacted to that show is honestly not only embarrassing, but infuriating.

As for the Golden Axe cartoon...honestly, I dunno. My only exposure to official Golden Axe stuff was when Gilius appeared in that SeHa Girls anime. Apparently it was made for Comedy Central initially. I'll just wait till it airs.

Sorry. Just wanted to get this out. Was gonna mention the TTG! episode, but this has gone on long enough. Voicing criticisms is fine & all, but not...that. It's not OK to harass someone over a harmless art style or b/c the show "ruined your childhood." Just watch the old shows! 😁

I was sadden by 2011's cancellation like many others. Though hearing that WB supposedly try to make money via toys, I can't help but wonder if there were things that screwed the show over from the start. Apparently a DS game was made & from what I've read, it's bad. Really bad.

long before CalArts itself was a thing. I sort of understand why some aren't a fan, but mocking artists, especially those who are drawing for fun, over a simple style is not right. Also, I recommend looking up the Flapjack Family Tree. Lot of recent creators came from working on---

Not much of a comic reader, but it always fascinated me that when X-Men's Beast mutated again into having a more cat/lion-like appearance, his design was almost never consistent between artists. A part of it might be cause they struggle to draw anthros, but I dunno...🤔

I liked Pepé when I was a kid cause I like skunks (& still do!), & I do hope he comes back as a more major character. However, there's no denying that his gag is not only problematic, but it's so very one-note. There's nothing wrong w/ him desperately trying to find love in comedic ways.
