Two weeks out #Rams mock I see a trade back into the end of the 1st/early 2nd round as the most likely move right now, (provided someone is interested in moving up). Rams trade #26 and #101 to the Browns for #33 and #67. Almost a perfectly balanced trade on Rich Hill trade chart.

JT Pearson NFL (Mr Irrelevant) @jtpearsonnfl.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

#Rams scouts have been doing their work on this years inside linebacker group. Likely to be a point of focus in the draft on days 2/3. Carson Bruener (Washington) is the latest ILB they’ve spent meaningful time with, after also meeting with Danny Stutsman, Chris Paul Jr and Jack Kiser

000

JT Pearson NFL (Mr Irrelevant) @jtpearsonnfl.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

It could very well be the case that the Rams already decided that cutting Kupp and re-allocating that $7.5m to retaining Tutu was more attractive to the front office than acquiring a rookie WR with the trade compensation (in a poor WR class). Offers were likely no better than a Day 3 pick.

000

JT Pearson NFL (Mr Irrelevant) @jtpearsonnfl.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

Cooper Kupp’s future will be decided today, but it won’t be with the #Rams My reading is that the trades offered to the Rams were incumbent on them paying his $7.5m roster bonus (due in 3 days) and they have been waiting to see what business they did in FA before deciding whether to cut or trade

As a reminder, a $15 million average salary in the NFL in 2025 is the equivalent of: - a $12 million salary in 2023 - a $10.6 million salary in 2020 - a $7.7 million salary in 2015 - a $6.4 million salary in 2011

Really happy with the #Rams business so far. Byron Murphy was my #1 target but fine with them not overpaying for him. The Paulson Adebo contract was the one I wish they’d offered too. Priority now should be re-signing Ahkello and adding depth (Ojulari + Sanborn would be my top options)

JT Pearson NFL (Mr Irrelevant) @jtpearsonnfl.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Michael Hoecht is signing with the Bills on a three year deal at $8m APY #Rams lose a veteran from their defense, likely to become a 7th round comp pick in 2026 (depending on other free agent acquisitions)

JT Pearson NFL (Mr Irrelevant) @jtpearsonnfl.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

These charts with past drafts provide good context when setting expectations. Not a great class from top to bottom, obviously will be some diamonds in the rough but mostly contributors at WR

JT Pearson NFL (Mr Irrelevant) @jtpearsonnfl.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

Big loss for the #Rams (and annoyingly late into the scouting process after the Jaguars extended their GM search for weeks on end) Big step up for Gladstone though, who deserves it from everything I’ve seen from the outside looking in.

For my February #Rams mock I have the team trading out of the 1st (with the Saints) to acquire an additional day two pick. Focus on filling holes on the defense with a successor/bridge QB for the post-Stafford era. Considered RB at #70 in a deep class with Kyren entering a contract year too.

My read on these comments was more about him wanting to make sure the depth is able to run the same playbook as the starters. Having to rely on depth OL originally brought in to be zone scheme only (Noteboom, Bruss, McLendon) derailed a lot of his plans for the offense IMO. Think we’ll see turnover

1V1s at @seniorbowl.bsky.social Been impressed by interior DL Jamaree Caldwell (Oregon) and Joshua Farmer (FSU), EDGE rushers Oluwafemi Oladejo and (unsurprisingly) Mike Green on National team. Aireontae Ersery (Minnesota) and Jalen Rivers (Miami) held up well on the OL
