Despite #COMPASS off #TRACK. LBCT at #ERA26. While #COMPASS showed a decrease of cardiovascular mortality under twice daily low dose rivaroxaban this approach in pts with advanced CKD at high cardiovascular risk did not have an impact. The study was prematurely stopped due to major bleeding rates.

My mother in law’s coffee filter featured at the Committee on Health of the #Bundestag. When your coffe filter rips you have grinds in the cup - if your kidney filter breaks you have albumin in the urine. The #UACR is easy to do, cost effective and helps to diagnose #CKD (chronic kidney disease).
