About half way through #Missouri, 9 hours in at 4am and trying to catch some sleep. I have a feeling I won’t get any because someone won’t sleep……. #roadtrip

A very uncomfortable situation trying to sleep

Long time no post #BlueSky. After a lot of thought and energy put into it over the last several months; I’m moving across country to California. The dogs and I started what may be the road trip of our lifetime this morning.

As #Pride Month comes to a close I wanted to share this amazing reel I found on instagram by the @traveling_boyfriends. Those who came before us fought so hard so we can be open in society. Our community continues to be marginalized and attacked. We must continue the goods they have completed.

This is one of the greatest posts I’ve seen in the internet about the recent #NobelPeacePrize discussions related to #Trump lately. And with a hilarious visual to boot.

A thread about Trumps nomination for peace prize being revoked, and a hilarious image of him making a funny face

Here friend, I fixed your image so it’s right side up. Makes it a tad easier to read for everyone. 🙂 That being said, while this is a powerful message, they’ve been turning the WH lights off nightly for years now. So while it hits philosophically it fails factually.

I’m currently on track to finish my #Pride month reading list a little early, despite adding in an additional book. In my brain this apparently translated as “Get on Libby and add more books to your reading load!” So I now have 5 books checked out on top of my reading list. #Booksky #Booktok 😬

I picked this book up at the library a few days ago, an add on to my #Pride month reading list, and I’m in love with this book! Genuine question, does anyone know where you can pick it up with the pink dust jacket included? All the versions I’m finding online are without the dust jacket. #BookSky

The comments, especially by the OP are filled with vitriol and get incredibly violent calling for the marines to violently harm or outright kill protestors. I was driving in to work this morning when I realized I’m a bad person. Why? Well because when I had 2.5 miles or less left in my journey, I hit a sudden gridlock and my drive jumped to 34 minutes. My first thought was “Someone better be dead”. 😬

We’ve allowed them to forget #Stonewall to easily. They think #Pride is all about rainbows. They need to be reminded of the absolute fury that was unleashed in 1969. Our community hasn’t gotten to where it is today through silent protest. We will protect and fight for our Trans siblings existence.
