#EuroPython was amazing 🇪🇺 🐍 I had the pleasure to give a talk about Python profilers and showcase which-profiler, a tool to help you discover and choose profilers: github.com/jstriebel/wh... Huge thanks to the @europython.eu organizers and volunteers, looking forward to next year!

I've been going to the competitions in Paris the last years, it's even better in person and very fairly priced IMO.

Today, we’re announcing the preview release of ty, an extremely fast type checker and language server for Python, written in Rust. In early testing, it's 10x, 50x, even 100x faster than existing type checkers. (We've seen >600x speed-ups over Mypy in some real-world projects.)

Updated my Python Profiler post yesterday, please let me know if you're missing your favorite one 🐍 🚀 codical.org/profilers/py... It shows which profiler measures speed, memory usage, has visualization and whether it's deterministic instrumenting or statistical sampling based. #python #profiler

I don't think I saw this on social media at all: a bunch of very clever people (including our team) has put together a federated bioimage repository based on OME-Zarr with 500TB of data in 4 months! ome.github.io/ome2024-ngff...
