Xenoblade Chronicles’ locales & music never stop being amazing. Crazy vibes, huge, massive scale, moving parts. However I do recall what bugged me the most. The second half of the game just constant same mechon fights is kinda tedious.

I’m still only about 20 hrs into XCDE, but already wondering if I NG+ or just start over in XC2… seems like there’s benefits to each.

Mannn XCDE hitting so good. The world & beautiful shots. Music. They really killed it w the rumble use too… I love u so much Xenoblade… I am really dying to revisit XC2 & I’m not even more than 10 hrs into this haha…

Also I finished Wind Waker HD on stream 2night… man what an awesome game. I never finished it despite trying a few times over the years. Really loved the final fights & scenes / dialogue during the whole ending sequence, raw stuff.

XCDE sw2 is crazy beautiful yet I still can’t help to want to see a ton of comparison between it and the 3DS version. 3DS is where I first played Xenoblade, but my memory has somewhat filled the gaps on how it looks. It’s so insane they had this on the 3DS man.

Oft said how incredible monolith is at world crafting, but it’s still diff to be experiencing it yourself playing. XC1 isn’t new to me but it feels just as wonderful to explore and experience.

Played a bunch of Splatoon Raiders, super addicting. I ended up playing that & XCDE a decent bit. I want to actually go thru w playing thru XCDE this time and I’m really looking forward to giving XC2 another go. I’ve softened over the yrs, I think I’ll look better on it.

Rebirth replay: Man the Junon segment is so damn delightful, so many great interactions. The soldier NPC who’s like “my wife is obsessed with Rufus” Tifa & Aeirth adorably excited to dress up as soldier commander adjutant yelling at them for missing practice Just love this game.
