Based on my knowledge, Gartner has a long standing reputation of ranking their vendors in a higher position, so I wouldn’t really trust this research, especially as it lacks so many companies.

Tbh, I feel that this graph is super subjective, as it do not include many of the open source tools, like OpenCode, Qwen, and etc. It is mostly just providers.

Hello! Just curious, why did you choose 37 days over the standard 30-days or 60-days guarantee? Also, I noticed that your text is quite broken, so it is almost impossible to access your website too.

Nice! I am actually currently building a similar tool too. Just curious, how much you make from sponsorship? Wanted some ideas about the potential about such tools

Just checked it out, looks quite cool, but feel vibe coded through? Is it?

Personally, I would give away marketing part of the job, like finding new users and customers. Connecting to community is not really an issue for me.

I sometimes post around 10 comments in like 15 minutes and my account is still fine, what did you do?

Jst Tan 🇲🇾🦋 (Indie Hacker) @jst-tan.com · 01/11/2025

Nice idea, maybe we can partner up to form an unified community if you are interested.

110

Jst Tan 🇲🇾🦋 (Indie Hacker) @jst-tan.com · 01/11/2025

Nice! Well that is nice, with may people expressing interests, I am actually considering the need to create a close-knit community on Slack for everyone to support each other.

I am currently building a new people & community discovery app, a TOS & privacy policy summarise website and a Chrome extension for finding alternative to products easily.

Jst Tan 🇲🇾🦋 (Indie Hacker) @jst-tan.com · 31/10/2025

Totally agreed, which is why I am looking to connect with anyone interested (follow each other + DM), so we can support each other, including giving feedback, providing motivation and much more.

👋 Hello everyone! As an indie hacker, building solo on a product can be boring sometimes, especially as we are building alone. Which is why, I am looking to connect with anyone interested to connect so we can support each other. #buildinpublic #indiehackers #business #startups #entrepreneurs

Well I doubt it isn’t, however I do hope DeepSeek release an useful open source coding agent, with performance similar to Codex and Claude Code soon, so when the bubble burst, AI-assisted coding can still live on.

Well after buying another ChatGPT Plus for a month, I decided to ask ChatGPT Codex to create a metaverse website based on ReactJS, and this is the initial design. Look significantly better, can't wait to continue developing it in the future. #metaverse #buildinpublic

Not really, as AI is too overhyped, and many things developed by AI is useless or doesn’t serve a purpose, such as AI browsers. Some purposes like search, coding, summaries, AI is very useful in those, but for most of other use case, it is just hype, and nothing else.

If you mostly on laptop, then yes. It is a good browser, similar to Arc but still maintains. However, if you prefer cross-platform, then no, as Zen do not plan to support mobile anytime soon.

Jst Tan 🇲🇾🦋 (Indie Hacker) @jst-tan.com · 26/10/2025

Just curious, how much tab you actually use? If not too much, maybe you can try out Arc and Zen, as they have vertical tab folder, making everything more organised.

This is untrue if you do good management, as if you properly used money received through ‘lifetime deal’, you can definitely create a business model out of it. However, if you used all of the money at once, then it would be the worst business model.

So blogs made for commercial platforms like companies, projects and much more? Good concept, but isn’t it better to use platforms like WordPress, which provide more controls?

Normally, I will disclose stuffs like new features I added, new project I created, and the stats of my projects. I will also only publish when I already did something, instead of saying beforehand, so if anyone wanted to steal it, they will have to develop it quickly, and make it better.
