Views are even stronger regarding antisemitism, with the Current GOP rejecting openly antisemitic individuals by nearly 2 to 1 (60%-31%), including almost half (48%) who say they should not be welcomed in the coalition under any circumstances.

Somewhat delayed mail day. The Bunuel box set is marvelous. Also a… unique entry from my in laws: some very early footage of my wife as a child, including her birth. So, uh, now that’s on the shelf too.

Also home movies of my wife from my in-laws.

I will never understand why city/state governments insist on having so many special elections. Just put it on the November ballot. Every two years is fine assuming nobody needs to be replaced.

It’s gonna cost us 15 million to run the special election over the infrastructure bond issue

tbf, that’s just subsidized GME slots (not total - see fig). worth noting that when the AMA started lobbying for more subsidized slots in the mid-2000s (an effort they have pretty much continued unceasingly since) Congress mostly ignored them bc they just wanted an excuse to not give CMS more money
